Rashid is Vice President and Chief Structural Engineer in Walker’s Chicago West office. He oversees structural engineering projects for the Chicago, Minneapolis, and Tampa offices.
With the Walker team since 1993, Rashid oversees the structural analysis and design of parking structures utilizing computer models, restoration design, coordination of engineering and drafting personnel, construction administration, and peer review for post-tensioned and precast concrete parking structures. He has provided leadership on several successful design-build projects, including a 1,000-space mixed-use structure at the University of Chicago and Crown Center, as well as a 2,700-space parking structure located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Rashid is active in several professional organizations and serves on various committees with the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute and the Post-Tensioning Institute.
